PdB is a mobile device that helps facilitate different activities in public space developed as part of Barcelona’s Pla de Barris, a city government programme to reverse the inequalities between different neighbourhoods of the city.
The PdB device is small in size and easy to transport. It includes an ample double-access storage space for keeping materials, a large retractable working surface and a portable, extendable structure for displaying items such as posters, community bulletins and calls to action.
Its primary objective is to serve as an infopoint or place to gather data, as well as a forum for participation, both in public and private spaces.
