#Module Parc Matacavalls

Having been invited by the foundation Contorno Urbano, we worked from July 15-26 to collectively build the first installations of what will be a playground and cultural space for the area of Pont de Matacavalls in Hospitalet de Llobregat.

The workshop was proposed as phase one of the land reclamation project in the area adjacent to Pont de Matacavalls that connects two parts of the city separated by railroad tracks.

Over the course of two weeks, we worked together with young people from Esplai la Florida, Casal Quitxalles and volunteers from the neighbourhood to bring to life some of the designs that different entities, schools, institutes and residents proposed during various community workshops.

This renovation is part of the Comprehensive Urban Regeneration Plan for Las Planes-Bloques Florida that carried out a participatory process to figure out what the neighbourhood residents wanted in their area and to collect ideas for improving the urban environment.
